Editing Notes

India edited the narrative parts of our music video during her free time on a Friday as well as our original performance scenes, however we then decided to change the performance scenes due to them not being suitable as I couldn't play guitar and it was unusual to see a drama studio as a location so therefore I used my 2 first lessons on a Thursday for 3 weeks during the end of November and beginning of December to edit the performance scenes. India and I also used our Tuesday lunchtimes to do some editing together to ensure we both agreed on the editing we had both done and to help decide whether the shots we had used looked professional.

I spent my time watching over the clips we had taken to ensure I used the best ones due to filming scenes more than once. I also had to ensure that the clips weren't too long or too short and that they fitted the pace of the song. During the time we edited, India and I decided that the location scenes we had originally used a lot of to fill in gaps were unusual to see within indie music videos and found that they didn't look very professional so we therefore decided to change these clips for more performance scenes due to performance making up the majority of music videos rather than narrative.
